The Special Education Administrator is responsible for aligning instructional and related services for students through the IEP Process. The program coordinator will coordinate the delivery of special education services through consultation with various school team members, parents, and outside providers. The program coordinator is also integral in monitoring PLAAFP, ensuring the relevance of goals/narratives prior to system entry, and representing the iCan Dream Center at IEP Meetings.

This role will report to the Executive Director.

 

KRA Results Area # 1: Recruitment & Collaboration

  • Engage all stakeholders, including district partners, in a way that reflects the culture and climate of iCan Dream Center
  • Attend fairs, partner events, and community meetings to raise awareness about the school and develop partnerships accordingly
  • Provide consultation to assist in individualizing instruction to meet the needs of the students

KRA Results Area #2: IEP Compliance

  • Ensure the validity and relevance of goals by reviewing present levels of academic & functional performance to ensure goals are designed to facilitate growth
  • Ensure all items in the IEP that iCDC produces are submitted and available in a timely manner
  • Review progress data, collect student data, and
  • Support instruction by modeling lessons for instructors who require an exemplar or immediate support to meet the academic or SEL needs of the class and/or to maintain proper student teacher ratio

Key Results Area #3: Data Analysis

  • Analyze monthly related service logs for fidelity, consistency, and compliance
  • Inform programming, services, student groupings, and Professional Development based on student outcome data
  • Maintain student databases accurately including, but not limited to, student enrollment tracker
  • Follow up with parents of newly enrolled students within 10 school day to ensure that they are acclimated to iCan Dream and maintain the database accordingly

Summary:

The Office Manager is responsible for keeping the school running smoothly. The Office Manager oversees office operations and ensures organization by scheduling meetings, processing accounts payable, maintaining files, tracking reimbursements, and overseeing administrative support. The Office Manager works collaboratively with the leadership team to account for the varied needs of each team.

The Office Manager must demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving, thrive under pressure, and maintain a high standard of service.

The Office Manager reports to the Director of Strategy & Innovation.

KRA Results Area #1: Maintain Filing Systems

  • Ensure compliant student files by following a system and regularly monitoring and tracking missing, expired, and incomplete items
  • Ensure compliant personnel files by organizing submissions from the online platform and regularly monitoring documents that require updating
  • Provides historical reference by defining procedures for retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records

KRA Results Area #2: Daily Operations

  • Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ensure that records of accounts payable (electronic and physical) are accessible and ย ย  ย ย ย ย organized
  • Coordinating appointments, tours, meetings and various schedules
  • Supervise, mentor, train, and coach our administrative assistant and delegate assignments to ensure maximum productivity
  • Support the organization of special programs including overseeing purchases, vendor coordination, and set-up (e.g., Saturday Experience, Parent Nights, Adulting Conference).

KRA Results Area #3: Managing Inventory & Time

  • Process requests from Leadership Team Members to ensure that the center is stocked with instructional and other supplies
  • Maintains office supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipate needed supplies; evaluate new office products; place orders for supplies; and verifying receipt of supplies.
  • Conserves leadership team memberโ€™s time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information

Impact: The Office Manager has a direct role in ensuring student success by ensuring that they have needed supplies, reducing chaos in the school environment, and assistance with compliance to ensure continued good standing of iCan Dream Center

ย Our Ideal Candidates Will Have the Following Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year working under a BCBA as an BT
  • RBT designation required OR must obtain within 90 days of joining the company
  • Availability to work within the hours of 9:00AM – 2:00 PM
  • Strong communication and written skills
  • MUST have excellent attendance

ย Position responsibilities:

  • Implement treatment programs under the guidance of a BCBA
  • Provide direct care to clients in a one-on-one or group therapy setting to implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction treatments as directed by the supervisor.
  • Collect and record data on patient behavior.
  • Collaborate and communicate clients, parents and staff.
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for patients and family.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality.

ย Qualifications:

  • Certificate, Bachelorโ€™s or Associateโ€™s Degree in a behavioral health or related field (preferred).
  • Relevant experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Computer skills.

ย Essential Job Functions:

  • Able to provide consistent attention and care for the client, up to 2-hour long sessions
  • Ability to sustain long periods of sitting or standing
  • Excellent communications skills to effectively interact with patients
  • Ability to bend, squat, lift, and lower a minimum of 20 pounds (must be able to lift and carry clients)
  • Must be able to have flexible scheduling
  • Ability to communicate with your team through phone and email in a timely manner

ย This position is based out of Tinley Park, IL

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 โ€“ 25 per week

The Behavioral Specialist incorporates Applied Behavioral Analysis strategies during instruction with students. Transportation Specialists are the first point of contact for students.ย  We rely on our Drivers to set the tone for the day! (Now, there is a lot of responsibility!)ย  They provide the most expeditious, pleasant, and safe transportation of our students from home to the center and to various internship sites. They monitor and provide feedback to optimize routes, ensure the longevity of the vehicles, and maintain adequate fuel levels. This role necessitates observing and proactively addressing student behavior.ย 

Want to earn some money but keep your days free?ย 

This is a part-time job with about 20 hours per week with opportunities for overtime.ย ย

The Scoop!

The Literacy Specialist is responsible for literacy lesson development and implementation, while also ensuring services are being delivered in a way that will result in a positive, supportive, and productive climate for both students and staff. This includes but is not limited to ensuring efficient transitions, assisting to deescalate students and provide direct supervision to program staff. (BTW, iCan Dream is known for our positive, fun, friendly culture)

Here are the Details:

  • The Literacy Coordinator create and implement culturally relevant literacy lessons; collect and review data to monitor effectiveness
  • The Literacy Coordinator will collect data and codify data on literacy initiatives (e.g., Achieve 3000), skill development and reading interventions
  • The Literacy Coordinator works collaboratively with the leadership team to account for the varied literacy needs of all the departments.
  • The Literacy Coordinator will develop a thorough knowledge of grade level curricula; promote competency in addressing literacy development across the curriculum
  • The Literacy Coordinator will maintain expertise in a wide range of resources, and conduct ongoing assessment of classroom based materials needed as well as those needed for the Lit Lounge & Rivers Reading Room
  • The Literacy Coordinator leads the Literacy Explosion Initiative which may include planning speakers and activity schedules, organizing literacy fairs, and developing community partnerships
  • The Literacy Coordinator facilitates Professional Development to support stakeholders in strategies to enhance literacy outcomes
  • The Literacy Coordinator will engage in weekly planning meetings; make meaningful contributions and absorb new professional practices from colleagues (Our team likes one each other a lot which leads to some great innovation!)
