This is a full-time on-site role for a Director of People, Culture & Equity (HR) at our Tinley Park, IL location. The Director of People, Culture, & Equity is the first point of contact for new and potential employees. The primary task is to ensure a qualified candidate pool, an effective on boarding process, and support for matters that arise. Additionally, this leader will support positive organizational culture by supporting other leaders, resourcing the team with professional development opportunities, and planning team celebrations. The Director of People, Culture & Equity proactively and creatively addresses employee matters.

The Director of People, Culture, & Equity has a direct role in ensuring student success by supporting a psychologically safe school culture for the entire school community. Also, they ensure that the iCan Dream Center is staffed with the best candidates to optimize student potential. Additionally, the Director of People, Culture & Culture creates a professional development program to ensure that team members are immersed in research-affirmed, culturally relevant, and trauma-informed instructional practices.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Human Resources, talent management, and workforce planning
• Strong knowledge and experience in developing, implementing, and enforcing HR Policies
• Proficiency in Employee Relations to foster a positive work environment and handle conflict resolution effectively
• Experience in overseeing Performance Management systems, employee evaluations, and training initiatives
• Comprehensive understanding of Labor and Employment Law to ensure compliance
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Commitment to equity and cultural competence in all HR practices
• Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or a related field is preferred

 Our Ideal Candidates Will Have the Following Qualifications:

• At least 1 year working under a BCBA as an BT
• RBT designation required OR must obtain within 90 days of joining the company
• Availability to work within the hours of 9:00AM – 2:00 PM
• Strong communication and written skills
• MUST have excellent attendance

 Position responsibilities:

• Implement treatment programs under the guidance of a BCBA
• Provide direct care to clients in a one-on-one or group therapy setting to implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction treatments as directed by the supervisor.
• Collect and record data on patient behavior.
• Collaborate and communicate clients, parents and staff.
• Provide a safe and supportive environment for patients and family.
• Maintain strict confidentiality.

 Qualifications:

• Certificate, Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in a behavioral health or related field (preferred).
• Relevant experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Computer skills.

 Essential Job Functions:

• Able to provide consistent attention and care for the client, up to 2-hour long sessions
• Ability to sustain long periods of sitting or standing
• Excellent communications skills to effectively interact with patients
• Ability to bend, squat, lift, and lower a minimum of 20 pounds (must be able to lift and carry clients)
• Must be able to have flexible scheduling
• Ability to communicate with your team through phone and email in a timely manner

• Create lesson plans
• Collaborate with other service providers
• Monitor students’ ongoing academic and functional progress

• Prioritize student safety by maintaining proper student/staff ratio and ensuring students are supervised at all times. (Our ratio is only 5 learners to every 1 team member!)

Behavioral Specialists are responsible for developing, executing, and assessing activities designed to improve the functional and behavioral skills of students. The Behavioral Specialist incorporates Applied Behavioral Analysis strategies during instruction with students. The Behavior Specialist cultivates a positive learning environment designed to increase the productivity and development of the students. This role reports directly to the program coordinator.

CALLING ALL CREATIVE PLANNERS!

• Maintain working familiarity with student IEP to synthesize goals with daily activities
• Collaborate with stakeholders on student behavioral, functional and SEL needs to effectively implement interventions
• Create effective ways to employ behavior management and collect data during instruction

• Support the facilitation of curriculum
• Infuse behavior management strategies while building relationships with students
