This includes creating an environment conducive to sleep, encouraging consistent sleep schedules, and advocating for policies that align school start times with the natural sleep patterns of adolescents. Parents, educators, and policymakers must recognize the critical role of sleep in learning and take steps to ensure teens have the opportunity to get the rest they need.
